Paper Pizazz® Retailer Scoop

What's the Scoop?
I recently had the honor of being voted onto the Board of Directors for CHA, and earlier this month I attended my first Board meeting. I knew I would learn a lot, but really had no idea of the wealth of information, experience and background from this very diverse group of industry leaders. The Board is made up of independent retailers, manufacturers, designers and more—representing all factions of the industry.
Of course one of the main topics of conversation was how to make the CHA show the best one for members like you–rest assured, we have formed a committee (I’m on it) to brainstorm ways to make the Summer CHA show the best it can possibly be. I’m very excited and of course will keep you posted on our developments.
Here’s to working together!
PS. Check out our newly updated Independents Only site—keep reading to see more details on this month’s issue!
Speaking of trade shows, check out this month’s Retail Tips article on Independents Only, where we share cost-saving tips, setting objectives and planning your floor route, just in time for the winter show.
Give us your opinion and you could win a selection of our newest decorated Christmas brads! Just click on the Giveaways form, fill out the survey and you might be a winner!
Are you using Weekly Webisodes to promote product? In each week’s episode, we showcase the latest scrapbooking and card making supplies, with tips and techniques on how to use them. Independent retailers tell us they use the Webisodes to train their employees, as the basis for classes and for crops. Check out our upcoming line-up so you can have the product in your store and ready to sell. This winter we’re promoting Heidi Swapp’s clock, Stampendous’ Large Clear Pail, McGill’s punches plus HOTP stamps and Finished in a Flash!™ kits. See the complete listing here.
Do your customers love brads? Want to give them more ideas for using and altering them? In this month’s Tips & Techniques column, you can download our free Brad Sampler, which is a color sheet showing a variety of brads altered with paint, paper, ink and more. Post it in your store or hand it out in class—it’s a great resource for your customers!
